IntroductionA Poem by AlprisInspired by Melanie, of course. Also inspired by how I feel & the fact that people so nicely love to point that out that I go for older women; but with their maturity can you blame me? Enjoy the read.summer's breath sends my sharp n*****s back through my shuddering chest to cut holes in my heart where no patch has ever set foot like an unarmed burglar in a bank, hoping to gain that doesn't mean I don't think about her, want to steal her heart And Dana knows, because she asks: "Who is this woman?" Dana says. "Well," I say. "She is a very beautiful woman." My heart spits blobs of undigested care into my lungs I cough and light a f*g "What's her name?" Dana asks. I take a drag exhale now my lungs can open again. "Well," I say. "Her name is Mel." Now my heart can breathe again "Mel," I repeat the tip of my tongue prods plummets wet mouth ceiling then settles. I like to drag her name out and it rinses my mouth with spicy verbal whiskey and Dana knows, because she smells the fire on my breath as my eyelids flutter like black bats. I take another drag. "How old is Mel?" Dana pushes. I sigh blue strings. "Old enough to be 'yer mum." © 2012 Alpris |
