TrappedA Poem by AlprisInspired by a woman I am infatuated with. Enjoy.
I need to
open my eyes,
and welcome the liquid grace that flows before me. Like the river runs into the sea, sweet petrifaction, I will be lost for all eternity. But before I do, I am suspicious of the web of a trance I suspect I will be trapped recklessly within as her presences covers me. Like that of a pure white sheet, I may never want to leave or I fear the cold will set me free I need that sweet Maintenance. I need to open my eyes. And as I do, my lungs open and I lose all air inside of me. Ti's not the trance I am lost in... ti's her eyes. I don't want the night to end. Take me now, for against your lust I can no longer defend. © 2012 Alpris |
