Battlesky

Battlesky

A Poem by Alpris

whether you like it or not, we all shower in the moon's piss
there are some that love it; they bathe and gobble the shadow's charcoal cum
and dry themselves off with the night's speckled blanket

there are some that loathe it; they squirt the sun's love from wide open doors
and scream its name; ever shortening hope rope
but from ever darkening rooms /

the moon's minions; are what we are,
are what we eat
the way Satan shat us out and rinsed us in cloudy lakes

the sun's slaves; they can't see anything
they are what they spurt
to this day they remind themselves; blind
in a clouded ditch /

The moon goddess applauds your minionosity! I am instructed to ask if you will please throw those blind baboons in the ditch some of that hope rope?
