Walk of Lovers

The patter of rain falls around us
as we walk on a dark, hidden path.
Hand in my hand, I'm leading the way
As you pause in your steps to make it last.

Darkness around us in every direction
but somehow we're finding our way.
Every step leads us into a dream
and I wish with my heart we could stay.

Arms outstretched up to the sky
I turn my face into the wind.
I'm falling in love with you here by my side.
I'm ready for us to begin.
