I Couldn't Win

I Couldn't Win

A Poem by Alone In A Crowd
"

This poem is about how I tried so hard with something going on in my life, but I feel like I've fallen apart and just couldn't win.

"

Hello. Yes

Faced with the uncertainty of not knowing-

The shrieking of paranoia and self doubt ,

Began rising and flooding into my limbs.

Filling them with fear until they get too heavy to carry...

They fall. I fall too.

Into darkness I went;

Spiralling and screaming.

This fight; I can't win.
