The Troops

The Troops

A Poem by W. Paul Keoke Maury
"

A quick poem I made thinking of my uncle in war and thinking of others waitin on there family and no one coming home to them.

"

Raise your hand to your heart,
The troops have died and the war still did not start,
The feeling of unknown and of hate,
We wait for our brothers and sisters as we hear of others fate.
God has taken and let go, the love of many and the love of ones heart.
That tells them just to let go.

A powerful poem. Your words are true. I 'm a Veteran and pray for the safe return of all soldiers.

Geki, you're so unsupportive! This is a touchy subject! Be nice! >:O

Anyway, I can feel the stress and fear in this poem. I can sense the worry of "will he come home? If he does, will he be in one piece? Will he be okay? Or will he be different? Will he come home at all?"
I pray that he comes home fine and that God protects him.

Things like this are the most frightening....
