Limit

Limit

A Poem by Amulya Leona Noronha

They set out to teach me, my limits

They thought I would easily be captured

Yes! I am a coward

But, they are not the ones I fear.

I know the sky is my only limit

I shall fly through the mountains too.

These shall be my limits.

I pity those who try to capture me!

They shall try and fail.

My fear, my only fear is me, myself.

Yes! I am a coward

But, being captive under you is not my fear

The limits you've set up for me, are not the only limits.

I am bound to fly up in the sky and beyond,

That shall be my only true limit.
