Verbal Forgery

Verbal Forgery

A Poem by AlmostWhatIWant

Your words are poison, it fills the air
Making me choke on would be words
Theres a struggle going on under there
I cant decide what would be worse
Trying to believe and suck them down
Or fighting back for pointless worth
If im going to lose anyway, you first

Dream of white lights and ice
Itll be all you have in the end
Try to fake it, your so good at
Making up lies, on the spot
Come on forge those words
Come on, you first

There was nothing like when you dreamed
Id watch you while you slept and spoke
All the things you never intended to say
Intentions you took into false words
If im going to believe you anyway, whats worse

Dream of white lights and ice
Itll be all you have in the end
Struggling to fake it right
Harder you throw yourself
Harder i laugh to myself
Come on forge those words
Come on, you first

Without a care you never intended to be
More than what you wanted me to see
Dont act like i never had said worse
No actions could of delayed it any longer
So if im going to die anyway, you first
If im going to die anyway, then you first
