A Poem by AlmostWhatIWant

Finding their flaws, its time to call a new cause
Bringing a new race to the top again
This should bring more, hope than before
But itll probably just wind up in death again

The screams seem to reach out
The neighbors will hear it too
Maybe then someone will realize
That the worlds going to lose
Everything its been fighting for
The advancements its seen
Ill restart this race again
And try for something more clean
I dont know how i let things get this far
This isnt why i gave them their minds
Im playing god tonight

Reforming my plan, for every urge
And impure idea of theirs
I think i now have more, than any time before
That i restarted them

The screams seem to reach out
The neighbors will hear it too
Maybe then someone will realize
That the worlds going to lose
Everything its been fighting for
The advancements its seen
Ill restart this race again
And try for something more clean
I dont know how i let things get this far
This isnt why i gave them their minds
So im playing god tonight

If they knew what was about to fall
I think that they would all
Stop believing in me again
And my power over them would end

They dont know the majority
Holding a belief
Is what gives me my power over them
It makes me me
Its what makes me exist, makes me all right
So im pressing the reset button tonight

How can you be so sure that God didn't intend for how we are? Perhaps he is looking for the someone/'s who will fight to change the way it has become instead of recreating it? I like the concept and the way you have it written... it just provokes questions. Which is a good thing.
