Introduction to The Trouble With Change

Introduction to The Trouble With Change

A Poem by AHudson
"

This poem expresses my deepest feelings since this books is based upon my own personal experiences. I hope it helps others in the same situation.

"

I can’t help but lift up my head and look to the sky.

For above lies my one true love.

I’m like the first seed, watered and feed with the nutrients of the sun’s rays.

I grow strong and tall in its warmth. For behold, my place in the sun.

As days turn into nights, on the horizon comes my first storm.

I become twisted and torn, but my roots are strong.

I look to the sky to see the sun, alias my one true love.

I stretch out my arms in its warmth, and I grow strong in its light.

Here I stand through life’s changes and adversities.

This is my story of my first storm.

This is a fantastic poem. Maybe consider altering the repetition of "sun"?
