A Poem by Allyson Wolfe

Sitting comfortable,
leaning against your shoulder,
my head buried against your neck.
I find it ever easier to pretend
to fall in love with you.
It gets easier to pretend,
although,
my love,
you're not the one I'm thinking of,
when all I think about is him.

I like where you are going with this. Personally, I think you could expand though. Because this is something that I think a lot of other woman have gone through in love, it may be more relatable if you added your feelings toward the other man and then drew a comparison to the one you were with and why you feel like you have to pretend. Where it stands now, I have no critique with it, it is good. In my own opinion, there is just a lot more that could be said to really blow it out of the water, you know?

I feel you. I've thought about using it as a beginning of a series, but I'm not sure yet. Thanks!
