Amore Come Rose SelvaticheA Poem by Allyson WolfeA Love Like Wild Roses..
A love like wild roses,
wrap around my heart. Thorns rip through flesh so sweet; in love, we can only fall so deep. Blushing violent red, wild roses drip from every vein. Pinpricks of blood like petals; a love so strong it hurts us to resist. A love like wild roses, oh it grew so fast at first. All flowers wilt and die however; our love can't last forever. Wilting flowers petals do drop, litter the bottom of my heart. Thorns once painful are now but dust. A love we once thought immortal is now anything but. Oh my love, with our love like wild roses. Where has it gone? Our amore come rose selvatiche.
