A Wilderness Untamed

A Wilderness Untamed

A Poem by Allyson Wolfe

A wilderness untamed in all it's glory.
Violet splashes across the forest floor.
Paint the picture, go ahead.
Bluebells dark as indigo,
the gems that litter the floor.
Rubies.
Emeralds.
Topaz.
The occasional diamond or too in moonflower.
Splashes of gold fall from the trees.
A nature so beautiful,
I'm brought to my knees.

I am very surprised that no one has commented on this piece yet. I love this poem. Your use of imagery and words give this poem itself a heart beat. I love traveling to places such as this that are untamed. It brings you to a special place that you will never forget. Great job, Allyson.
