The Non-Existent Hero Hero

The Non-Existent Hero Hero

A Poem by Allyson Wolfe

Lost in blue eyes so deep,
the sea?
A comparison?
Oh not to thee.

I'm drowning,
but I think it's okay.
You won't be here to save the day.
But that's okay.
You'll be there,
wherever I lay.

My love,
once so sweet,
now nothing but a dream.
Nightmare?
No.
No it can't be.
What's going on?
I'm drowning.
You're gone.
Help me.
Save me.
Please save the day.

My lovely hero,
gone astray.
Oh where are you today?
You were never really here to stay..
