Ode to Apollo

Ode to Apollo

A Poem by Allyson Wolfe

My devotion,
bright as the sun.
Your blue eyes,
gold hair,
and it's only just begun!

Oh, Apollo!
Your love is unfair.
With your smile so bright,
love me without care.

Oh, Apollo!
My sun!
My Lord!
And to think,
the lies that you have spun
have only helped us on our way.
Lead me to salvation,
you have to stay.
Oh, Apollo.

What a sweet, loving tribute! I think a person can really feel the love and devotion of an animal..and that devotion is absolute!

It's quite alright. :) Thanks!
In the world of archetypes Apollo's are often doctors and lawyers. Rational, logical, educated, sucsessful, cold and emotionally unavalable. Good poem
