Delusions of Case #4

Delusions of Case #4

A Story by Allyson Wolfe

"Where are we Christian?" I ask groggily.  "Are we there yet?"
Christian just laughs and affords me his award winning smile, completely ignoring my question.  Well, I do suppose that is a usual.  At 5'10 with dark hair, pale skin and ice blue eyes, Christian could get out of any amount of trouble with me.  We've had so many memories!
There was the time we climbed trees in the park.  I got stuck.  Oh, my Christian, my love and my life: you were there to get me out.  You caught me when I fell.  There was the time we made love under the stars.  It felt so good to hold you so close.  There was the time we first kissed.  Christian, my Christian!  How could I ever forget the soft brush of your lips against mine.  Nothing else in the world mattered but you, after that moment.  We've been through so much.  We really have.
Christian opens the door for me and leads me to the beautiful hotel room.  He had spared no expense when planning this vacation.  He went all out for me, buying rose petals for the bed and drawing me a hot bath in the hotel's private Jacuzzi.  He proposed! My Christian, my darling.  You proposed...
We lie down in the bed.  I look over at him and he smiles, ever so slightly.  There's love in his eyes, a love I could never forget.  It is golden love.  His eyes are made of liquid gold now!  Oh Christian, my Christian!  He kissed me girst on the forehead, then my delicate nose, then softly puts his lips to mine and whispers softly:  "I love you Ally.  I'll always love you."  I close my eyes and we sleep.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I wake up but keep my eyes close, wanting Christian to be the first things I saw when I woke up.  Oh those blue eyes, those beautiful blue eyes! I turn over with a smile on my face.  It was a slight smile, but it was so full of emotion.  It was all of my happiness. I'm too happy to move! I love you Christian, I do!  I open my eyes.  I see the wall.  Where did you go? My Christian?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"And here you see case study 4.  Allycia Miller was a heavy user of Psilocybin Mushrooms, commonly known as "magic mushrooms".  She has been sober of them for 15 years now but still has serious flashbacks and horrible hallucinations.  She lost her husband and children in a nasty divorce as a result of her drug abuse.  Among other personal losses in her life, Allycia also lost her job and her license to practice veterinary medicine.  Any questions?"
