My Good Friend, Marijauna

My Good Friend, Marijauna

A Poem by Allyson Wolfe
"

The mindless delusions of a pot smoker.

"
Marijauna,
oh my good friend!
I've missed you,
I love you,
take me 'round the bend!

Marijauna,
wrapped in white,
lovely in green,
where have you been?
Will you stay with me tonight?

Oh!
Marijauna!
We must catch up!
There are things I have to say,
I've been lonely today,
I'll go fill your cup.

Am I high?
Where's the sky?
The clouds, so fluffy white,
they can be my bed for the night.
What about a throne?
I'm a queen by right.
Marijauna,
will you stay with me tonight?

Spinning faster,
this might be disaster.
Marijauna,
What have we done?
I'm out of control,
I've lost my hold.

Will you stay with me tonight?
You're the only one that does this,
it just feels right.

I really love this. The formatting and the colouring of the words makes it very effective :)
