Summers end

Summers end

A Poem by Ally Baldwin
"

I was Curly Wolf in Nevada City with my sister when I wrote this.

"
I sit in this coffee shop late at night
Grasping at the ends of my summer
The weather cooling down
The tan fading
I sit here in a sleeveless shirt
And my jeans
Realizing to late
That Fall snuck up on me
I feel a shiver and put on a sweater

Yes...that's the way summers are. Start too late and end too soon. And I disagree strongly with the 'but no feelings' comment below. Feelings can be more pastel and this is like that...thanx...bobc
