![]() Price of RejectionA Poem by Allison Diamond![]() Sometimes, the price of rejection, is beyond deadly.![]() Price of Rejection Her lips, dry, chapped, small, intrigues him. Her hair, swirls of dark ebony collapses gracefully, over her shoulders, revealing her smooth neck. Her eyes, a dark shade of brown, brings out that natural glow, to her cheeks. Her nose, long and narrow, shapes her face, to a delightful, blend of firmness yet callowness. Her ears, so round yet so big, gives her that uniqueness, that he has come to love. She’s not a beauty, but he loves her. Only if she could return those feelings, then he won’t have to do this, he thinks as he slitters the knife, across her silky skin. © 2015 Allison DiamondAuthor's Note
