The Reality of It

I tried rhyming.

Remembering to cross your T's,

and dot you i's,

does not ensure success.

You can study hard,

and review each step,

yet it will never be perfect.

Not a lack of effort,

nor timeless energy,

can place you at the top.

It's the will of the world,

unable to change,

fated failure you cannot stop.
