Spirit Socks

Spirit Socks

A Poem by AllieMarie
"

"Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow it only saps today of its joy" -Leo Buscaglia

"

Stripes Cover the Walls,

matching the socks.

whispers follow.

"Nice Socks."

"Thankyou,"

earning snickers.

points and smiles.

Smirks, hand covering laughter.

Hater please,

my socks have nothing

on you.

My lips bleed the words,

shocking faces.

spirit socks,

let go,

showing freedom,

head held high,

never felt so good.

Walking to the cliff,

colors flowing around.

pulling up my socks.

saying a prayer.

and jumping.

"Spirit Socks"

young girls whisper across the world.
