When I think back on us

I smile because of the memories

But I don't cry

Because there is no pain

I believe that what we had was real

But it just wasn't meant to last

This poem is very different from the usual memory poems... Most memory poems contains a regretful pain in them but this one seems to cherish the moments between two people who were together in the past but for some reason the relationship didn't last... The poem is a touching one with a sad yet heartfelt memory of a past relationship... Excellent work frnd...
