Days of Future's Past (Haiku)

Days of Future's Past (Haiku)

A Poem by Allen Smuckler

Tomorrow’s sunshine

just for fun and just because;

I missed it today.

I love Haiku, but have never mastered the short and sweet. But I love the truth behind them, in this particular one I can relate in the sense that I tend to put off till tomorrow what I can get done today. But no sunset will be as sweet as the one that you miss, for the one that you see tomorrow could pale in comparison, but it doesn't hurt to watch anyhow...for each one painted is unique in its own accord.

As indicated by my long-winded reviews-Haiku is NOT my forte-I applaud yours!

Very nicely expressed! It is wonderful how you bring out so much emotion out of a mere twelve words!
