Glorious Discovery

Love’s presence 

fades 

like twilight 

falling. 

Darkness and 

dread become 

my companion, 

as fear 

turns to fright 

and all within me 

near withers. 

The circle of life 

and living, 

brings about 

the promise, 

and hope 

of a new 

inspirational day. 

And I smile now while sitting 

at the kitchen table 

Reawakening 

to the light. 

I’ll mark on 

the calendar, 

the genesis of 

the day’s discovery; 

happiness and love 

found once more. 

As we wait 

hand in hand 

for the twilight, 

night turns 

to dawn... 

Such is the magic 

and beauty 

of life...
