I changed the title and the order..but essentially the poem remains the same...

Love’s presence
fades
like twilight
falling.
Darkness and
dread become
my companion,
as fear
turns to fright
and all within me
near withers.
The circle of life
and living,
brings about
the promise,
and hope
of a new
inspirational day.
And I smile now while sitting
at the kitchen table
Reawakening
to the light.
I’ll mark on
the calendar,
the genesis of
the day’s discovery;
happiness and love
found once more.
Such is the magic
and beauty
of life.
As we wait for
the twilight,
night turns
to dawn …
hand in hand
Sooo, This is my tweak to Kate Little's rewrite of Twilight's Discovery.
There is a "Discovering Twilight 3" but it has to do with a decision on the last line...
I've asked enough of you so I won't go there.....yet. However we are looking for which one works best..sort of a vote...obviously no pressure but if you want to ..feel free. BTW Kate Little is from Australia and I'm from the U.S...amazing what people can do together when they put their mind to it. (reactions welcome)

Allen I've been a fan of all of these but in my opinion this version works best in almost every way. Flow. Format. Imagery. I don't claim to be a professional judge of poetry or even a good judge but I vote for this one
Thank you for telling me you were here and that you've posted these. It was a pleasure to work with you on this .... just amazing what we can do from across the other side of the world! Life is just full of glorious discovery, is it not?
I'm a poet, a singer, a peaceful gunslinger..
