Discovering TwilightA Poem by Allen Smucklerpicture: Deerfield Beach, Fla. - 2010I’m smiling while sitting at the kitchen table reawakening to the falling twilight and the fading of love’s presence. Darkness and dread become my companion, as fear turns to fright and all within me near withers. The circle of life and living, brings about the promise, and hope of a new inspirational day. I’ll mark on the calendar, the genesis of the day’s discovery; happiness and love found once more. Such is the magic and beauty of life. As we wait for the twilight, night turns to dawn … hand in hand.
