Heart on the sleeveA Poem by Allelujah
Just like clouds they forecast the coming rain You can tell the wind, by the rustling of leaves And the direction there of,by swaying branches of trees Left safety for danger, now manipulated by little things Easily predicted,
your works are in vain You don't have the sense to refrain There is no hiding, I know that you're not trying Feelings shown, for all to see, hurt by friends, even family receptive toward pleasure and also sensitive to pain A ship in the ocean, easily pushed by waves can't hide a candle at night, you're exposed and vulnerable Giving all your affection and getting broken If only you would have safeguarded your emotions And didn't wear your heart on your sleeve” © 2014 AllelujahReviews
