Melting awayA Poem by AllauraRoseThought this would turn out to be cool and eerie.Talking to myself, but is it really me replying? Seeing these things that aren't really there A body hanging from a tree Check again there is nothing Hear my name yelled out, but no one called it Thoughts cloud my mind, but they aren't mine Dreams that are crazy, yet true Talking but not responding Hearing a squeak upstairs Grabbing the knife and tiptoeing My hand shaking while checking each room Like I'm in a movie Forgetting the unforgettable Remembering unwanted memories Crying comes so easily, but laughing stays away Life changing slowly, and no luck at finding the light
