Lover's RevengeA Poem by All From A PenA poem I wrote under the impression of the great Edgar Allen Poe. I hope you enjoy it. -ThanksMy dearly departed, how could you leave? The happiness you have stripped me, But for my heart, the sadness you have heaved.
From the darkness you threw me to, to the light that you stole, now my anger for you, will as sea billows roll.
In this casket you'll lay, as I bury you deep. Until your breath flees you, and eternally you sleep.
At our one special tree- where we shared our first kiss. Before marraige, before love, before wedded bliss.
Among the knotted roots, there will you stay. Until you are found- come whoever may.
Fret not my dear, for lonely you shall never be, For my mind, body, and spirit, will be hanging from our tree.
The book of Genesis states- the man shall reign over thee. There shall I reign over you, for forever we vowed...and forever we shall be. © 2010 All From A PenAuthor's Note
