Just Another Shattered Dream

So many times I've sat in my home
wondering why you left me alone.

These wet tears begin to fill my eyes,
my heart's been broken many times.

I could see two lover's walk by, hand in
hand, just like we used to do.

They smiled as they looked into each others
eyes, just like we used to, too.

He told her he'd forever love her
and promised, too, he'd never let her go.

Just like you had also promised me
and would forever love me so.

As I finally look out my window
once again, at the full moon,

I keep wondering if my dream will
ever come true pretty soon.

I keep telling myself I will be alright
under the full moon that's shining so bright,

watching our memories dance in and out of the moonbeams.
Then I had realized, how it's just another shattered dream.
