Sad Angel

Sad Angel

A Poem by BlueEyedAngel

Sad Angel

Angel from afar took one more look
back through her lonely six years.
She had been doubted at times,
for him, she had shed many tears.

She found out she'd been deceived,
this pain she endured for a long time.
Had been told she wasn't worth it,
not even worth a single dime.

He had made her look like a fool,
told she was crazy, needed help.
Kept thinking he was so cool,
never once could admit wrong.

Just couldn't bear it anymore,
watched me sit in agony.
Should have known, done before
and decided others he'd see.
