God's Magnificent Beauty

God's Magnificent Beauty

A Poem by BlueEyedAngel

The raging storm had finally come to an end,
I headed for the river just around the bend.

It was cold, began to shiver from the breeze.
Was that time of the season when we'd freeze.

A colorful rainbow appeared in the sky,
as the silver clouds went passing by.

The radiant sun tried to peak through,
only the dancing rays were able to.

My chilly bones were finally warm again,
made me happy and I began to grin.

The trees were swaying to and fro,
colored leaves were turning just so.

I noticed a cluster of rocks ahead of me,
wondered why it had caught my eye you see.

I suddenly heard someone whisper out of the blue,
God is your only solid rock today, He's here for you.

I looked on down the river where the water kept flowing,
reminded me of God"s Love that just keeps on going.
