The Fly

Another silly one

THE FLY

 

The fly is called a household pest
like roaches, fleas and all the rest-
The only insects that I knew
were actually named for what they do.
Born a loser, it's a pity,
stuck with wings which are not pretty.
If they were, I think, these guys
would rival all the butterflies,
and, perhaps, we wouldn't harm a
pesky bug with such a karma.
Yet, because how nature made 'em
people smacked and whacked and sprayed 'em...
Gotta grudge against these guys?

Forgive 'em.
After all they're flies!
