The DandelionA Poem by All 2 SillyA silly poemTHE DANDELION
This poem is for the dandelion
which decorates this lawn of mine and rears it's yellow toothy head within and out my flower bed, then, goes to seed and soon is gone to populate my neighbor's lawn. O how I envy lawns so green where dandelions can't be seen and cutting tools and killler sprays need not be utilized for days. Secretly, I must concede, I somehow like this hated weed which grows about in different spots that fill with yellow polka dots. I believe that I'm no match for dandelions in my patch... As the summer sun grows hotter I give up to fight this squatter- and be sure that it's no sin to just let Mother Nature win... © 2011 All 2 SillyAuthor's Note
