I did not care     today     for science          lepidoptera     thorax, forewing, antennae     and proboscis     iris sanguinea     roots and stems and buds and leaves     pedicels     and     stems     Terms that interfere     rigid as religion     cold as wind in winter I’m sure that     on the right     occasion     names of parts will out     which is alright     I guess     but     not today I have     a great reluctance     to consider you in parts     for naming The butterfly sits     upon a purple iris         nothing more     and     nothing less
