SQUALL

SQUALL

A Poem by Aliva Sarangi
"

Its my first poem hope everybody likes it. Its just a random poem. No more description to add, actually.

"
Struggling in the cold
Where the night had grew old
I found a place more quiet, but warm.
My eyes glittered, my face that was almost smothered by the snowflakes, smiled
And fresh, warm blood rushed in my arm.
I stood there, startled by what I see
By feeling the warmth, my feet gathered strength to stand and so did my knee.
I almost ran and with a jerk reached my destination
To find a hut with the minimal comfort
Which I found to be more heavenly
Than any mansion.
I kept my bag aside
And sat against the wall.
I don't know when my eyes got closed and i slept
Without getting worried about the snowfall.
