Waterfall

Waterfall

A Poem by Alister Flik

I am frozen waters,
Forever stuck
Falling,
Inward on myself.
I melt, only to boil.
The world turns
Red with the heat
As my cliffs
Reach to contain
The steam.
Then Freeze,
Back again.
Icy debris
Itches as it
Sits--a part
Of the never beginning calm.
It all collects,
Glacially slow,
At the end.
And cycles again,
With a cry of
Rushing stillness.

Beautiful.
There aren't many words to describe it..

"I melt, only to boil."

A wonderificous piece of work!

About
What to say? I could be boring; say what is obvious: I like writing. I could be bizarre; say something random: I like frogs. I could be mysterious; say nothing: What do you want from me? Ask. .. more..
