He

He

A Poem by Alissa Marie Unknown

He feels so unbelievable alone,
for his heart has turned to stone. He's
been thrown into a void and there's no
point to return. A life he thought would never
change, caved in and made him go through
immense pain.

Needy and insecure his world turned to
hate for the lover he endured.
Now lost and not knowing where to turn
an enemy he confided in to vanish his
hurt and bring forth a love again he wants to control.

Listening to what he thought was right, he
plummeted deep within causing much horror at sight.
All that he was gone beyond the dimmest light. All around him
extinct for he saw no wrong in his rights.

Realization must of finally sunk in for
his void he overcame and resurfaced to take on
a new name. One that is strange to all of those within.
A hope he presents to be who he once used to be. But
for now a mystery he is and might always be.

Forgiveness he has seeked but not totally so he
remains weak. Only if he could really see that everything
will be steady maybe then could he return to his peace.
