Choices

everyday choices really have an impact on our life to the fullest.

The feelings rush over me
like a wave crashing upon
the rocks.
Every time I see him all I can
say is oh my gosh.
Here is a man I could've had
but choose another.
It's funny you know how we
go about certain things in life.
It's no wonder why we use
sanity and normalcy so
rarely when speaking about others.

Author's Note

At the end of the poem, should more words be added such as "in our life"????
Or does it seem self explanatory enough to leave it as is?
