To Say I'm Nothing, You Are CorrectA Poem by AlisonMarie<3First to crumble in a day Surrounded by my bodies ruins Failure; with a hint of dismay That's the scent of my sin
Rejected by God He said he loves all But isn't it quite odd, That he didn't help when my walls started to fall?
Now there's no light Black ash covers me This land, broken as night Is not what it used to be
Back then A land sturdy, and strong Back then No citizens did wrong
That changed, With a test of insanity My life changed Everyone left me
No thoughts of security When people thought I was insane No one cares for me Or about my pain
I don't matter That's why they let me fall Let the world around me shatter They didn't care at all
All I am A useless speck on the map No one gives a damn, About a lonely mishap
That's why I fell today Surrounded only by my insanity My world will only decay And leave nothing of me © 2010 AlisonMarie<3 |
