I remember when our paths intwined

You changed me without giving it thought

You were one of a kind

Cupid hit me in one shot

 

It hid it all away from you

Put all my feelings in a box

For awhile you didn't have a clue

My heart still sealed and locked

 

Then we had a meaningless fight

The only thing I could do was tell

I told you and things were set right

You were flattered as well

 

Of course, after that my heart would shatter

You had to say something

"It doesn't matter

It doesn't change anything"

 

A year has passed

My feelings are the same

Our friendship has barely last

We're both to blame

 

That night you toyed with my heart

Then suddenly broke it

This tore us apart

Caused a lot of s**t

 

Four months we fought

Until you wrote an apology

We still don't talk a lot

Though things are fixed between you and me

 

I'm not sure how I feel about you now

The confusion caused by the past

I just sit and wonder how

You can get over me so fast
