The Hunter

The Hunter

A Poem by _Ally_

The Hunter

Stroke me with consciousness

violate me with parts.

Dig deeper slowly.

feel for my heart.

Search for my belonging,

somewhere on your earth.

Ease me with exhales.

Place me for my worth.

Greed me with inhales.

Blame me without fail.

Push, pull for the moment.

Don't let this go stale.

Are you still searching?

Or did you even start?

Do you see the shape of my heart?

What is it you're hunting?

My loss,  your gain?

Will I still be there

amongst your days frame?

Pictures you've painted so vividly

from all that's been unsaid, undone,

of the possible could be.
