To be

To be

A Poem by Star Cross

I do not want to be what I want to be,

I want to be with you.

To hold and caress,

To lay my head upon your chest.

To the sinners who were appointed to die,

Just because they told a simple lie,

I know how you feel,

And trust me, this punishment is real.

I want to spend one more night with you,

And see to you embrace the love that you knew

You had and cherished.

Good-bye, my love.

We shall hold each other's hand in the other realm.
