SurrenderA Poem by Star Cross....The world is at fault, It caused me to become like this. I don't know who I am anymore, To a point where my mind has driven me insane With questions of doubt.
I want to drown where there is no water, To breathe the spoiled air And purify it with my own hands. If I capture a hundred planes, Will my wish come true?
Does it mean I'm lost, If the 'X' has marked the spot of my redemption? I have been digging for years, And all I have found was pieces of my future. A broken and empty dream.
It's only a matter of time before I surrender. © 2008 Star CrossAuthor's Note
