Cross

A Poem by Star Cross
"

...

"

I don't understand this way of love.

Are we suppose to hurt each other to show our gratitude?

I've forgiven you many times before,

And you continue to love me in this form.

Is this happiness?

Why won't you see through my eyes?

Our friendship is worthless and

Our love is more fragile than a bullet through a wound.

My mind is going insane with thoughts of you.

I want to hold you.

I want to release you in the big sky,

Yet my heart will not break.

Make me believe in you, please.

Where there is friendship, there will always be reality.
