Prima BallerinaA Poem by Star Cross

She took the first steps and danced. Gracefully, Beautifully, Mesmerizing. Her body quivered, Thoughts scattered. Lips stayed smiling, Fiery eyes remained lit. Then, she collapsed. Her flaws were revealed, Everything she had worked for was gone. The show was over. Curtains fell. © 2013 Star Cross |
