Paradise

Paradise

A Poem by Star Cross
"

...

"
There is a part of me that lingers,
Waiting for you to say those words,
Arms opened for your embrace,
Lips waiting for your taste.

But, my mind runs.
It runs back to the wall,
Believing that it is indestructible,
As it shields itself away from the fantasy.

My heart beats,
My mind speaks no,
Reality and fantasy have mixed,
I do not know which one I prefer.

It is a dark paradise.
