Video Game

Video Game

A Poem by Star Cross
"

..

"
Blurred vision,
Mumbled words,
Bitter food,
Every bone of my body shakes.

Without you,
My heart barely beats.
The colors of life are grayed,
The kisses of joy washed away.

My paradise has darkened,
The fear flows through my veins,
Has fate really smiled upon us?
Life is a video game.

And I cannot get to the next level.

That's what extra lives are for. To keep on trying until you get it right. Good work!
