Shadows

These shadows are behind me,

And I wonder when I will be free.

To be bounded by these feelings,

I cannot breathe.

The void grows deep,

And soon the light will be gone. 

Will you ever return?

If takes two hearts to make a desire.

Do I not appear in reflections?

Have I not done enough for you to look past the mirror?

I guess not.

The water has risen.

And I am drowning in your blood.
