Float on

Float on

A Poem by Jeannette Lunete

Kiwi birds in the skyline forcing the air to be thinner and round the cosmopolitan shade out of the arc.
The opium in your tissue was never dark.

Center my shade into yours again.
Even if the sticking laughter is all we have.

Shredder the lake into an ocean,
Now float on and never come back.
